If you fail, you don\u2019t get another shot. Things are starting out with a bang for the sequel: the first elusive target in&nbsp;<em>Hitman 2<\/em>&nbsp;will be played by none other than Sean Bean, an actor who is notorious for regularly dying in film and TV roles.<\/p>\n<p id=\"tT36VQ\">His new video game performance offers something very different, however, as the&nbsp;<em>Hitman<\/em>games are all about finding creative ways to kill. \u201cIn the films I\u2019ve done, I know what\u2019s coming. I know I\u2019m going to die. I know in which way I\u2019m going to die,\u201d Bean tells&nbsp;<em>The Verge<\/em>. \u201cWhereas with this one, I don\u2019t know. It could be anything. The player can kill me any way they want. It\u2019s a persona that fits snugly into the&nbsp;<em>Hitman<\/em>&nbsp;universe, and Bean says he really enjoyed taking the role on. \u201cHe\u2019s rather unique,\u201d Bean says of Faba. \u201cHe\u2019s very much a loner, a very skillful assassin. And he just lives his life for that, really. He lives his life trying to create as theatrical assassinations as possible. I quite like him.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-float-right\">\n<aside id=\"LR0GW8\"><q>\u201cIT WILL BE STRANGE TO SEE PEOPLE TRYING TO GET RID OF ME.\u201d<\/q><\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"Gb7qES\">The actor is no stranger to video games, but in the past, his roles have predominantly been that of a narrator, utilizing his distinct, gruff voice to guide players through&nbsp;<em>Civilization VI<\/em>or the terrifying underworld of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2013\/10\/31\/5048298\/papa-sangre-ii-is-a-terrifying-world-made-of-sound\">the audio-only horror game&nbsp;<em>Papa Sangre II<\/em><\/a>. And while he says he was familiar with the&nbsp;<em>Hitman<\/em>&nbsp;name, he didn\u2019t know much about the franchise before taking on the new role. To familiarize himself before slipping into the Faba character, he played for a bit, describing the experience as \u201cvery sophisticated and sleek.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mnqU1H\">The elusive mission will be available on November 13th, a week after&nbsp;<em>Hitman 2<\/em>&nbsp;debuts. Players will then have just 10 days to take out Faba, and they only get one shot. If they fail, the mission can\u2019t be replayed. It\u2019s a unique and distinguishing feature for&nbsp;<em>Hitman<\/em>, one that Bean didn\u2019t actually know about when he first took on the role. \u201cI only just found that out recently,\u201d he says of the brief nature of the mission. \u201cI\u2019m not going to be around for long. That was quite unusual.
