HOLLYWOOD star Sean Bean will have a key role at the memorial service for campaigning Sheffield journalist Adrian Sudbury.
The Sheffield-born actor, 49, will give the reading at the Sheffield Cathedral service on Thursday.

Starting at 2pm, the service will celebrate the life of Adrian, who died of leukaemia in August, aged 27.

Adrian, who lived in High Green, SheffADVERTISEMENT ield, spent his last months campaigning to raise awareness about bone marrow donation among 17 and 18-year-olds. The achievements of his campaign will be highlighted at the service.

Adrian,won hearts across the world when he wrote of his experiences on Baldy’s Blog, his online his diary.

Sean and Adrian met last July when the actor launched a �150,000 appeal by the Sheffield Hospitals Charitable Trust to improve facilities for leukaemia patients at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
