Sean Bean cuts a dapper figure in a navy suit during Paris Games Week… as he takes a break from filming Sky drama Curfew By ROXY SIMONS FOR MAILONLINE

He known for his roles as the honourable Ned Stark, once Lord of Winterfell, in the hit HBO series Games of Thrones, and Boromir in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

But Sean Bean swapped the fantasy settings of his film work for a more casual affair, as he attended day two of Paris Games Week at Paris Expo in the French capital.

The actor, 59, cut a dapper figure in a navy blue suit as he spent the day walking around the event on Friday.

Challengers risk everything as they race through the night from London to northernmost Scotland in their pimped-out, weaponised vehicles to win the ultimate prize — freedom from the totalitarian government curfew that controls their lives.

Although it is not yet known who Sean will play in the upcoming series, he joins a star-studded cast including Rose Williams, Riviera’s Adrian Lester, Peaky Blinders’ Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Vikings’ Elijah Rowen.

Created by Matthew Read, the eight-part series is co-produced by Endemol Shine’s Tiger Aspect and Moonage. The show will air on Sky One and their streaming service NOW TV.

Speaking of the new venture, Sky’s head of drama Anne Mensah said: ‘Funny, emotionally truthful, visceral and above all fast – Curfew is the perfect Sky One show.

‘Matthew Read has created fantastically memorable, sometimes shocking, always fascinating characters. You’ll want every single one of them to win the race of their lives.’

In March Sean was seen on set clad in a Barbour-style jacket while holding on to a pistol as shooting kicked-off for the new Sky drama.
